Eurofins Food Testing Australia is an exciting new service dedicated to the Australian food industry. With its team of highly dedicated and skilled individuals and from its brand new facility, Eurofins Food Testing is set up to deliver world class laboratory testing with the best service.

Job Description

The Analytical Service Manager manages our clients' projects from start to finish... and often beyond the finish. With a strong technical background in either chemistry or microbiology they understand the laboratory and are able to guide the clients through the process and the results, with a clear understanding of their needs and a passion for great service.

Their standard missions include:
Providing assistance to clients in regards to responding to queries, requests for quotes, following up missing/delayed reports, and coordinating sample logistics;
Managing the samples process in the Eurofins IT systems (CRM, LIMS, customer interfaces...)
Supervising the progress of results with the laboratory team and with subcontracting laboratories everywhere around the world;
Explaining the results to the clients with the support of the technical team, managing deviations and queries;
Operating in accordance with the Eurofins Code of Ethics, OH&S requirements, and ensuring that he laboratory operates in accordance with the Company's Quality and Procedures manuals

In addition to this, given the start-up nature of this business, this role comes with extended responsibilities:

Being the champion user for the full suite of Eurofins sample and customer IT solutions;
Running demos and trainings for clients on the Eurofins client interfaces;
Being the main point of contact between our Australian Food laboratories and the subcontracting laboratories around the world.

  • Tertiary qualification in chemistry/microbiology/biology
  • At least 5 years experience working in a commercial laboratory
