About The Role

You will lead and take ownership of the Higher Education portfolio and proactively plan out marketing activity including events. Media planning, writing, executing marketing plans, designing and implementing sales conversion strategies and delivering first-class activation events will be part of your remit. Agility and sophisticated stakeholder management skills will be critical to support and effectively market partnerships with external providers, and to work closely with teaching areas within the institute to execute both internal and external promotion.

This position is aimed at providing a high-level of specialist marketing service provision to establish and support degree and associate degree products and promoting higher education pathway options from certificate to degree. You will support the development and execution of the marketing plan for Higher Education, while being supported and being part of Chisholm’s marketing and communications team.

Your key accountabilities will include but is not limited to:
  • Actively educating leaders on high quality customer engagement and its importance in building value and generating growth.
  • Contributing to branding discussions and participate in brainstorming and planning of corporate advertising as required from time to time.
  • Mapping the ‘student journey’ for students navigating Chisholm higher education courses and courses with partner universities, recommending and executing developments in touch points to ensure a smooth target audience focused experience.
  • Briefing and working closely with agency and other marketing staff to develop the Higher Education advertising campaign.
  • Conducting regular campaign evaluations to ensure effective use of spend and that performance is in line with expected results, adjusting where appropriate.
  • End to end management of content development and execution on existing marketing channels to share these successes and engage prospects, including identifying PR opportunities and drafting media releases.
  • Planning and executing video and photo shoots, liaising with students, teaching areas, marketing colleagues and external agencies to deliver high-quality results that adequately represent Chisholm within time and budget imperatives.
  • Working closely with digital and content teams to design landing pages and communications structures, providing content for social media updates to support business areas and actively participate and contribute to regular team-wide content meetings.
About You

You will be degree level qualified (marketing, public relations, journalism or communications) and have extensive experience in a marketing role managing, coordinating or overseeing a marketing portfolio. Knowledge of current education and training issues across the Vocational Education or Higher Education sectors would be desirable.

You will have highly developed stakeholder management skills with experience in end-to-end project management. Crucial to your success will be your extensive experience in digital, print and relationship marketing, including event management, sponsorships, content creation and your experience in lead generation marketing techniques including sales conversion techniques. A self-starter, you will work well under pressure in an environment of change.
